About Juliette’s F&F
Welcome to Juliettes Forks & Footprints, a little corner of the internet dedicated to helping you in Rome and beyond, finding amazing food, and discovering the magic in everyday life.
I started this blog while living and studying in Rome, originally as a place to document my experiences and share the things I was discovering along the way. People at university used to come up to me to ask for travel inspiration and tips, so I decided to write it all down on this blog. Since then, it has grown into something much bigger: a collection of my favourite places, travel guides, practical tips, and personal stories from Rome and beyond.
It sometimes feels like my own diary, since every article holds so many memories for me.
What will you find here?
Most of my blog is currently dedicated to Rome and Italy, because after living here for several years, I've collected quite a lot of information and opinions. You can find everything here, from the best neighbourhoods and cafés to public transport guides, day trips, hidden gems, and the places I genuinely return to again and again. My goal is for you to experience Rome beyond the usual tourist checklist.
As you might have guessed from the About Me section, I am a very creative person and I love designing things. I create travel guides filled with practical tips designed to make your life a little easier.
Whether you're visiting Rome for a weekend, moving here to study, or staying for a little longer, I want this blog to be the kind of place you can come back to whenever you have a question.
Travel like your favourite grandma in her twenties
That's basically the philosophy behind this blog.
I don't want you to rush from one attraction to another just to tick things off a list. Personally, I want to sit down for coffee, wander through neighbourhoods, find beautiful little parks, eat something delicious, read a book in the sunshine, and take the scenic route whenever possible.
If you're looking for practical travel advice with a personal touch, you're in the right place.
Take a look around, grab a coffee and a snack, and hopefully find something that makes you excited for your next adventure.
With much love,
Juliëtte
